Wellness: the quality or state of being in good health especially as an actively sought goal.

Wellness is a journey. With each stage of life, including our successes and our setbacks, our wellness must be central in order to manage the stresses along our journey. Instead of seeking more material things or centering others’ needs over our own, it is my belief that seeking more wellness can fulfill us more than anything else. A person/organization/community wellness plan is critical in order to manage the curveballs that life throws our way. Being emotionally well does not prevent challenges, but it helps you to face them, recognize where you need help, and tap into your own resiliency to recover and move through these challenges.
